HOW MANY YEARS OF SALES EXPERIENCE DID YOU HAVE PRIOR TO WORKING FOR SHC?
I would have to say I had a total of 16 years of sales experience, most all cold call. I would door knock and run business to business. I would only start working appointments in my hospitality company and also run trade shows.

WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT PART OF YOUR LEARNING CURVE?
I would have to say the most difficult part of the learning curve was me. I came into the business with all cylinders running; I guess it was the excitement of doing something new and not having to cold call. I did not have any problem selling and was able to get on the top of the leader board very quick. I also made this known! In sales there is a learning curve no matter who you are and when things started to change in my head I did not take all the advice that was given. I started to spin out of control and still was too smart for my own good. I was not open for any advice because then that would prove to me that I was doing things wrong. It came to a point when Mr. Douglas ended up calling me and explaining how serious it would be if things did not change. I then asked for a field retrain and this was the hardest thing for me to do b/c they would only let me retrain with the very best "overhauler" they had and he was over 500 miles away. I now had to realize that I would need help and humble myself to seek improvement. My decision to be field retrained saved me and has since made me a fortune.
