HOW MANY YEARS OF SALES EXPERIENCE DID YOU HAVE PRIOR TO WORKING FOR SHC?
I have recruited Student Athletes, solicited donations of millions, produced Advertising, Coached elite athletes, ran auto auctions, and managed hundreds of employees over the years.
However, I have ZERO formal sales background prior to SHC.
WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT PART OF YOUR LEARNING CURVE?
The One Time Close!!! In recruiting it was all about repeat contacts to sell an athlete and his family on your school. But, at SHC I needed to close on the first visit b/c we are booked all day everyday. After initially trying to be a callback artist with SHC, I quickly found that I might cause my family to starve if I didn't get it changed quickly. A one time close was a must to my ability to care for my family... and as I discovered, it is a must to suitably protect these senior clients I see every day that have so much risk, most unknown to them. Today has to be the day b/c the truth is, we virtually cannot come back due to the way our preset appmts. are scheduled b/c of the huge demand for our help. We simply don't have the time to come back! That is, unless you don't mind working 18-20 hour days, 6 days per week. Learn to close!
