Every consultant must make use of their own personal vehicle to go to their preset appointments in their designated county/zip code each day.

If a consultant is given an area in and around their personal residence (usually these are individuals that live in more rural areas of their state), that consultant should expect work hours ranging from 10-12 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday when working their preset appointments (post training "learning curve"). All consultants should expect some minor follow-up work on Monday, but in most instances this can be completed via telephone/computer from their home.

However, new consultants residing in Urban/Metropolitan areas will usually be required to work a minimum of a 50-60 mile radius outside the city with the potential for some overnight travel, as determined by the population of the contiguous areas being worked in a consultant's state. Initially this is required of a newer consultant simply because the more urban an area is, the greater the competition and the greater the sales resistance, which requires a consultant of a more veteran tenure to be successful. Gradually, as a new consultant becomes more versed in the sales process and more stable in his or her weekly/monthly sales production, the consultant may be given the option of moving closer to his/her residence (assuming they reside in an urban area). To no surprise, most veteran consultants elect NOT to run appointments near urban/metro areas, even if given the option. This is because the demand for our product is generally greater the more rural the area a consultant works. Finally, SHC wants consultant's working appointments where the demand is the highest, as this is where the consultant's sales production will be the greatest, and consequently where their commission income will be the most!

In some cases, higher producing veteran-level consultants will be granted the option of requesting preset appointments for only 2 or 3 days per week of their choice and in the area of their choice (assuming area is available). However, a part-time preset appointment consultant must still maintain the company-required level of quota monthly production.

All travel expenses are reimbursed every week up to $100.00, $200.00, or $300.00, assuming the consultant has met his or her minimum weekly production quota for each level of expense pay.
